Education for indian Woman ;there was a time when a women ,s place was in the kitchen and amen in farm ,factory or office.in many parts of the world this is no longer true.women look after families and make better homes, but today they also occupy the highest offices in several countries. FEMALE EDUCATION TODAY: nor do women of today lag behind men in most other walk in life.not very long ago we heard that a women, a japanese mother and housewife ,had a conquered the everest- the highest peak in the world. and women now play almost all the games and enjoy nearly every sport that men do. today,s women has proved that given a chance she can do as well and as much as a man does.FUTURE IN GIRLS EDUCATION : it has, therefore, been realised these days that women,s education requires greater attention than it received in the past . in most large cities and town of our country there are now special school for girls . in addition, there are many co-educational school where girls and boys study together . most parents now allow their doughters to attend co-educational schools, though there are some parents who are againts such school for girls after the age of 11or12 . nor do girls stop their education at the end of school . a large percentage now goes to college to do graduate, post-graduate and professional studies . medicine and teaching in particular attract growing number of telented girls . in spite of all this, however, womens education is still lagging behind and requires much greater attention . the goverment must incourage the opening of new schools for girls . it must also provide special facilities to train large numbers of women teachers. our universities must give preference to women for admission to courses like medicine, home craft and foreign languages . the goverment should also give schorships to women student who do well in studies or whoare from poorer families . EDUCATED MOTHER MAKE BETTER HOMES : to make a prosperous india we must educate every women and every men. women,s education is more important becouse wome bring up children . educated mothers make better homes .

Dowry A curse to our society- Dowry is the property including the articles of household, clothes, jewellery and cash that a bride brings to her husbands home at the time of marriage. Dowry in ancient and medieval times- In the ancient times it was given to the daughters by thier parents out of love and affection for her. In medieval times it was given as a mark of social prestige. Dowry in modern age - In the modern times dowry is a black spot on hindu society. Now it is not given but taken under compulsion. Now the parents of the daughters are forced and compelled to give it. If the parents of the daughters are poor they have to see their daughters unmarried. Now the bridegrooms are sold and purchased in the market. Troubles and tortures of brides- mostly the parents of the bridegrooms are as greedy as wolves. If they do not get as much dowry as they wish, they trouble the brides.Responsibilitiy of society- the only way to check it is social awakening.the young boys and girls should discard marriages settled on dowry terms they should revolt against theis sale and purchase in the auction market.social workers should come forward to see such hungry wolves punished. the government can do noting subsential without social awaeking against this evil.
